I've been carrying an image in my mind since the start of the year. On day 3 of my 100 day challenge, I painted a feather - and something clicked. I could see it so clearly: a magical loose pattern with feathers floating around, paint splatters, dreamcatchers woven throughout, and at its heart, an owl. Blues, purples, hints of pink. Sepia tones for the dreamcatchers. A whisper of green.
This owl meant something to me. When my daughter was born, I became slightly obsessed - everything I bought had an owl on it.
